Hands-On Training

At Summit College, we believe that students must learn beyond the theory taught inside a classroom. That’s why your classes will require you to spend time in the lab and deal with real-life situations.

In the Certified Nursing Assisting (CNA) program, for example, you will be required to complete lab and clinical training. This prepares you to care for patients when you start your job.

For students of Trade and Technical programs, we have facilities where students can practice what they learn in the classroom and deal with challenges they will encounter in real-life.

Modern Facilities

The Library and Computer Lab is available at the college and are central to the support of student learning. Open 5 days a week during campus hours to all students and graduates, this area is comfortable and quiet, offering a place to study with computer access. The area is equipped with learning materials and computers for research, along with test bank practice questions to assist nursing students with their NCLEX testing preparation. Maps of the campus are available from the receptionist of your campus.

Summit College classrooms are prepared with some of the tools and equipment that are used in each field of study.

Program Length & Flexible Scheduling

To elevate your career preparation, Summit College provides short-term programs and multiple scheduling options. We keep our program schedule in tune with our mission to provide adult learners with entry-level skills and technological knowledge necessary to achieve success in their vocational fields.

For those who want to start a career, but have no time to waste, we offer programs that can be completed in less than a year. And because we understand that modern life requires students to coordinate education with other activities, we offer courses during mornings, nights, and weekends.
