Certified Nursing Assistants Do More Than Just Make a Living: They Make a Difference.
An effective healthcare team is made up of more than just doctors and nurses. Certified Nursing Assistants play an essential role on any healthcare team by providing critical support and patient care under the direction of a licensed RN. That may explain why the demand for qualified CNAs is on the rise and expected to continue to grow. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the healthcare industry will add nearly 120,000 CNA jobs by 2029, which is considered to be growing at a much faster than average rate.*
Becoming a CNA means you could have a future where the job prospects are plentiful and you get to make a difference in people’s lives every day! If you enjoy caring for others, supporting a team, and have excellent bedside manner, you may be fit for a role as a CNA. Summit College can help you take the next steps in training! In fact, we’ve been doing exactly that since 1991! Helping students get the training and skills they need to become full-fledged CNAs is in our DNA. We believe we’re in this together with every student, you’ll get all the support and encouragement you need every step of the way, even after graduation.
The fun, online quiz takes 3 minutes to complete, and you’ll get a personalized report. Identify your strengths and social style plus the training and positions you’re best suited for.
Graduates of Summit’s CNA program are eligible to take the Nursing Assistant Certification Exam and can choose to pursue opportunities in hospitals, doctors’ offices, nursing homes, urgent care clinics, rehabilitation centers, and more! You’ll also have choices for what area of healthcare you want to work in such as pediatric or geriatric care.
