Why It Matters

Whatever college you choose must have all the necessary accreditations and approvals. Summit can offer this security. These are essential if the school wants to provide graduates with the licensure and diplomas that will allow them to practice their professions. To obtain approval, the school must earn accreditation, which entails a detailed examination and a recurring review of the school’s educational curricula, staff, equipment, facilities, administration, and overall management, according to the accrediting agencies’ guidelines.

If your school does not have the required accreditation, you will not be able to participate in Federal Financial Aid programs. At Summit, you don’t have to worry about this; we have accreditations and approvals that can help you elevate your career.

Summit College Goals

Summit College has appropriate approvals and licenses to operate for all the programs it offers. The school was approved by the Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education in 1992, soon after it was founded in 1991. In 1994 the College received its National Accreditation from the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET). We are also approved by the U.S. Department of Education.

For over 20 years, Summit College has successfully provided training and certifications for students in a variety of fields.
